The three-month program is especially geared towards artists with professional experience in their fields
(ie. performers, theatre teachers, directors, playwrights, designers, choreographers, musicians etc.) but also open to anyone interested in expanding their creative tools or wishing to further their knowledge of Masks and Movement based theater.
The program is taught by Matteo Destro and an international team of highly qualified artists, with whom he has collaborated in the past on various theatrical projects.
 
The participants will undertake a progression of physical mask and collaborative devising study, through neutral mask, larval mask, expressive full masks and half masks. Concurrently, under Matteo’s guidance, students will develop their own  masks. The program culminates in a showing of a selection of the devised works and masks created to the local community.
